Climatic Environmental Simulation
Temperature fluctuations, high or low humidity, and combinations thereof have a direct impact on the function, material properties, and service life of products and packaging. Our environmental simulation tests provide a reliable basis for decisions that are practical and in compliance with standards.
Climate ConditioningPackaging and Product Testing

During transport or within their life cycle, packaging and products are exposed to different climatic conditions. Standardized test atmospheres or those adapted to specific requirements enable these conditions to be simulated as part of product and packaging testing.
Applicable Standards: ASTM D4332, ASTM F2825, ISO 2233, DIN EN / IEC 60068-2-1, DIN EN / IEC 60068-2-2, DIN EN / IEC 60068-2-30, DIN EN / IEC 60068-2-38
Test Equipment: Climate Chambers, Permanent and redundant monitoring of control parameters
AgingPackaging and Product Testing

Accelerated aging simulates aging processes on materials, products, or packaging in a shortened period of time by increasing the ambient temperature under defined humidity conditions.
Applicable Standards: ASTM F1980
Test Equipment: Climate Chambers, Permanent and redundant monitoring of control parameters
Temperature-Shock TestProduct Testing

The chamber allows two different temperatures to be simulated in separate chambers (hot and cold chambers). The temperature can be set and controlled separately for both chambers. A movable cage allows the test specimen to be quickly moved from one chamber to the other. The following test options are available based on the technical conditions:
- Time-controlled temperature shocks
- Testing of materials and products at different temperatures
- Material aging/material testing under different temperature conditions
Applicable Standards: DIN EN / IEC 60068-2-14
Test Equipment: Temperature-Shock Test Chamber
